Healthcare

Before starting your program, it is essential to have medical insurance. Unexpected medical emergencies can cause financial difficulties and impact your studies. If you are not covered by the Alberta Health Care Insurance Program (AHCIP), we highly recommend obtaining adequate health coverage. For more details on eligibility and options, please visit our Health Care Coverage page.

International students can also access support from The Alex and Calgary Immigrant Womens Association (CIWA). The Alex Community Health Center provides comprehensive health services for low-income Calgarians without a family doctor.
