How to Get Started

Educational Qualifications

Prospective students must be Grade 12 graduates or possess an equivalent qualification. Those with Mature Student status (usually individuals who have been out of school for a specified period) are also eligible.

Interview

Applicants must attend an initial interview with the Registrar or an Admissions Representative. This interview helps assess the applicants suitability and readiness for the chosen program.

Entrance Examinations

Mature Students and those without proof of Grade 12 graduation must complete an Entrance Examination. This exam evaluates the applicants academic strengths and weaknesses to ensure they are prepared for the program.

Application Form

Applicants need to complete and submit a detailed application form. This form collects essential information about the applicants background, education, and program of interest.

Proof of Language Proficiency

Non-native English speakers, or those whose primary language of instruction differs from English, may need to provide proof of language proficiency. Acceptable tests include IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent assessments.

Criminal Record Check

Certain programs, particularly in healthcare, education, or law enforcement, require a criminal record check. This ensures the safety and security of all participants in the program.

Acceptance Letter

Once all requirements are met and the application is approved, the student will receive an acceptance letter. This letter confirms their admission to the program and provides further instructions on the next steps.
