- Our comprehensive online learning then 1-day in-person Canadian Red Cross Blended Standard First Aid with CPR/AED (Level C) course is a fun and comprehensive first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course led by one of our first class instructors. This first aid course covers everything from life-threatening emergencies to minor bumps and scrapes and is recognized by Alberta OHS.
- This is the course most commonly required by employers.
Duration
- Part 1: 5 - 8 hours online learning (self directed, at own pace)
- For part 1: online learning - you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the Canadian Red 's online learning portal within 1 business day of registration.
- Part 2: 8 hours in-class time: 9am - 5pm
- For part 2: classroom learning includes hands-on practical first aid skills. Participants must complete Part 1 before attending, and they must attend within 45 days of completing the online learning. Bring your certificate of completion to Part 2 as proof of eligibility. Complete Part 2 in order to receive your three-year certification.
- The date you select when register will be for Part 2 (classroom learning).
Certificate
- 3-year certification in Red Cross: Standard First Aid with CPR/AED (Level C).
- A permanent virtual certificate will be emailed to you within 24 hours of successfully completing the course
- You will also be able to view your manual and certification online at any time through your MyRedCross account. Certification is valid for 3 years.
